Virat Kohli Is Out From Fab-4 In Test Cricket, Babar Azam Not There Yet – Aakash Chopra

Aakash Chopra Interview:

India’s former player, and renowned cricket commentator, Aakash Chopra feels that Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli is out from the list of FAB-4, and at the moment there is just FAB-3 in TEST cricket.

Aakash Chopra is very active on his YouTube channel which is one of the biggest sports channels on YouTube, he is well known for his expert and unbiased opinion on his channel.

The former Indian cricketer makes a bold claim on Virat Kohli, he thinks that if we talk about TEST cricket, now Virat Kohli is excluded from the list of top four batters in world cricket.

Aakash Chopra, on his YouTube channel, claims that there is no FAB-4 in Test cricket right now as there are just three batters in world cricket that fits into the criteria of what we can call ‘’ FAB BATTERS ‘’.

The former Indian cricketer says that Virat Kohli and David Warner are now not on the list of top batters in TEST cricket. He thinks that there is no FAB-4 at the moment. New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, Australia’s Steve Smith, and England’s Joe Root are part of the list, which is now just FAB-3.

Indian commentator, Aakash Chopra feels that Babar Azam has scored many runs in Test cricket in this recent time period, but he thinks that Babar Azam will have to prove himself more in TEST cricket as he is not a part of that FAB-4 yet.

‘’ There is no FAB-4 in TEST cricket right now. Virat Kohli is out of it. There is no doubt that Babar Azam has scored runs in TEST cricket and he can be a part of it but personally, I feel, he is not there yet. As we speak about TEST cricket, for now, it’s FAB-3 with Kane Williamson, Joe Root, and Steven Smith in TEST cricket, and Virat Kohli, as well as David Warner, has been slipped from this list ‘’, Aakash Chopra on his YouTube channel.

He says that former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli, and Australian opener, David Warner are now not a part of the FAB-4 list. He thinks that even though, Virat Kohli is back in form but still he can’t be added to this list.

‘’ I think Virat Kohli can come back again to this list but David Warner, I feel his TEST career is towards his end. Even though, I feel Virat Kohli might come back again as his form has started but still his name can’t be added to this list ‘’, he concluded.

WHY IS BABAR AZAM NOT IN THE FAB-4 YET?

In this time period of 2020 – 2023, Babar Azam has played 22 matches for the Pakistan team in TEST cricket and is the fifth highest runs scorer in world cricket in the last three years.

He has scored around 2000 runs in TEST cricket at an impressive average of around 55, he has scored five centuries and 13 fifties but Aakash Chopra feels that these performances aren’t enough to rank him into the FAB-4 of world cricket.
