ASIA CUP 2023 SCHEDULE & MATCH FIXTURES:
Asia Cup 2023 is just around the corner and as expected this tournament will be played in Pakistan in September, and as we all know this is an ODI world cup year so the Asia Cup 2023 will be played in the 50-overs format this year. It is officially announced that the host country for the 2023 Asia Cup will be Pakistan.
BCCI STANCE ON ASIA CUP 2023:
Indian Cricket Board have categorically denied touring Pakistan in any case and they want Asia Cup 2023 to be hosted anywhere outside Pakistan because they don’t have permission from the government to travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 this year scheduled to be played in Pakistan.
PCB STANCE ON ASIA CUP 2023:
Even though BCCI has issued a statement that they will not tour Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 but PCB has stood firm on their stance and replied that they can host Asia Cup 2023 even without India but there is no chance that Asia Cup 2023 will be shifted outside Pakistan.
- These are the final statements issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Indian Cricket Board till now and there is no flexibility in this stance from both side.
- There is only one thing expected that India might participate in the Asia Cup 2023 but they will play their matches at neutral venues outside Pakistan, i.e. UAe
ASIA CUP 2023 SCHEDULE:
The hosting rights of the Asia Cup 2023 have been won by Pakistan and so Pakistan will be the country where Asia Cup 2023 will be played as per the announcement the tournament will be played in SEPTEMBER this year, although the original schedule has not been released till now the schedule for the Asia Cup 2023 is expected to be as follows;
