AZAM KHAN, IHSANULLAH, AND IMAD WASIM ARE EXPECTED TO INCLUDE IN PAK TEAM FOR AFGHANISTAN SERIES 2023
As we know that there is a new Selection Panel announced by Najam Sethi which is led by Haroon Rasheed and his first assignment will be to select a squad for the Afghanistan Series after the PSL 2023.
When it comes to the selection of players for the Pakistan T20i Team we all know that the performances in Pakistan Super League are always the high criteria to judge players and that will continue again this year as well when the PSL 2023 performers will be given a reward to play for Pakistan in the upcoming series.
Players like Azam Khan, Ihsanullah, and Imad Wasim who had a brilliant season of the Pakistan Super League 2023. So, as per media reports, these players are expected to be in line for the inclusion in the Pakistan T20i team for the Afghanistan series that will take place in UAE straight after the PSL 2023 will end, the team will fly to play vs Afghanistan next week.
TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT:
The teams for the series Pakistan vs Afghanistan are expected to announce after the selection committee will held a meeting with Captain Babar Azam and all the other members of the committee, the teams are expected to be announced around 17-20Th of March before the PSL ends and it mainly depends on the schedule of the Pakistan vs Afghanistan series.
PAK VS AFG SCHEDULE:
The series vs Afghanistan and Pakistan is expected to be played in UAE as announced by Najam Sethi, the series schedule is yet to be announced but the schedule is expected to be around the last week of March.
The expected dates for the three-match T20i series vs Afghanistan are expected to be in between 25-30 March, with a one day gap to another match.
