The captain of Pakistan, Babar Azam and pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi has created world record for Pakistan in One-Day International cricket.
Pakistan skipper, Babar Azam is already the #1 ranked ODI batsman in the ICC ODI Rankings since 2021 and now Shaheen Shah Afridi has also joined the prestigious list.
In the latest ICC Rankings, Shaheen Shah Afridi has jumped up nine spots in the ICC ODI Rankings and is now the top-ranked ODI bowler in the ICC Rankings.
The fantastic duo of Pakistan, Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi are now the top-ranked ODI batsman and ODI bowler in the World respectively.
With this latest rise of Shaheen Shah Afridi, this is the first time in the history of ODI Cricket that a Pakistani batsman and Pakistani bowler is on the top of the ODI Rankings for both batters and bowlers.
Shaheen Shah Afridi’s brilliant performance in the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 has helped him gain 673 Rating points and he jumped nine spots to reach at the top of the ICC ODI Bowling Rankings.
Babar Azam is also ranked as the #1 ODI batsman in ICC Rankings with 818 Rating points, just two ahead of Shubman Gill who is currently at 816 Ratings Points in ODI Rankings.
