The second scenario for Pakistan to make it into the finals of the 2023 Asia Cup tournament if Sri Lanka wins against India is as follows;
- In this case, Pakistan can hope for Bangladesh to beat India and then they can easily qualify for the 2023 Asia Cup final.
- In this case India will be knocked out with 2 points and Pakistan will advance through to the final with 3-4 points, based on their result against Sri Lanka.
The best chance for Pakistan to play the final would be that India wins against Sri Lanka and then they defeat Sri Lanka in their last group stage match.
The final spot can be very difficult to achieve for Pakistan is their game against Sri Lanka is washed out.
