The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 consists of ten teams across the globe, eight teams qualified directly and the rest of the two spots are now grabbed by Srilanka and Netherlands.
The 2023 Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be played from OCTOBER 5, 2023 to NOVEMBER 19, 2023. The upcoming Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played in India with ten teams participating in the event for the final spot.

Srilanka even though failed to qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup directly through the World Cup Super League but they didn’t missed the chance to thrash some associate teams and qualify their spot for the ICC World Cup 2023 in India.
Srilanka won all four matches in the super six of the GROUP B and topped that group in which there were teams like Scotland, Oman, Ireland, and United Arab Emirates. They eventually thrashed the hosts, Zimbabwe in the Super-Six to almost knock them out of the World Cup contention and qualified for the ICC World Cup 2023 in India.
NETHERLANDS:
Netherlands pulled off an impossible victory and they become the tenth and last team to qualify for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as they defeated Scotland in the most important match that have led them to book their spot in the World Cup 2023 in India.
Bas de Leede pulled off an unbelievable victory for the Netherlands team with a magnificent century, he scored a brilliant 123 in just 92 deliveries as they chased a target of 278 runs in just 42.5 overs to knock Scotland out of the World Cup contention and qualify for the ICC World Cup in India.
- Netherlands will play their first World Cup match in India against Pakistan on OCTOBER 6, 2023 at the Hyderabad Cricket Stadium.
