INTERNATIONAL CRICKETERS OF PAKISTAN TO FEATURE IN EXHIBITION MATCH AT NAROWAL COMPLEX
EXHIBITION MATCH AT NAROWAL COMPLEX:
As per the reports, the newly built Narowal Sports Complex will be launched with an exhibition match as an opening of the complex. The opening match at the Narowal Sports Complex will be played on 28TH May 2023. Many international cricketers of the Pakistan Cricket Team will feature in this exhibition match at this Narowal Sports Complex.
EXHIBITION MATCH:
A friendly T-10 match will be organized to be played at this Narowal Cricket Ground that is recently constructed, many national and international cricketers will feature in this match as this match will be played at the Narowal Complex on May 28, and all the stakeholders are agreed in this decision.
PCB will try its best to end this match as a huge success and they will start the advertisement campaigns one week before the exhibition match to make this a memorable event. The decisions regarding the participants, and ground management will be taken in due course so that everything can go ahead as planned by the government and PCB officials.
LIVE BROADCAST:
This exhibition match that will be played at the Narowal Sports Complex will feature many international stars of the Pakistan Team and that’s why, it is also decided that this exhibition match will be broadcasted live as well for better branding opportunity.
The national sports channel of Pakistan, PTV Sports is expected to be given the responsibility that will broadcast the match from the Narowal Sports City, the match will also be streamed on some other platforms for the viewers to watch their favorite cricketers.
CHIEF GUEST FOR THE MATCH:
A chief guest is also invited for the opening match at the Narowal Sports Complex, the cause of this hype for this opening match at this Sports Complex that is situated in Narowal is that the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, Shahbaz Sharif is invited as the chief guest at the complex for the opening match and he will be attending the exhibition match that will be played at this venue.
Federal Minister, Ahsan Iqbal was the one who chaired the meeting in which the decision regarding the exhibition match was taken as an opening for this complex. The head of the PCB management committee, Najam Sethi, and many other stakeholders were also present at the meeting during this decision to organize the match at the Narowal Sports Complex.
‘’ The key objective is to provide the best platform to the youth of the country ‘’, Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal states that the main goal to build this Narowal Sports Complex is for the youth of the country so that they can show their potential at the highest level and can make this country proud.
NAROWAL SPORTS CITY:
The recently constructed Narowal Sports City has 14 stadiums, it is one of the biggest projects related to sports in Pakistan and there are stadiums for all games that are played in Pakistan.
Cricket, Hockey, Football, Squash, Volleyball, Table Tennis, Badminton Courts, and grounds for some other games are also built at this venue for the betterment of sports in our country.
This project was launched in Narowal City to provide youth with a better opportunity so that they can showcase their talent was started in 2018 and the estimated cost at that time was around 700 Million but now in 2023, this billion rupees project will still demand many more to be completed as per the plan that was launched initially but was not taken much care in the previous government and now the cost to build the sports city as planned has increased.
