One of the world’s top leg-spinners “ RASHID KHAN “ will play for LQ this season as well, although he can be unavailable for a few matches still his presence in the late half will boost the chances of LQ in the super 4 part of the tournament.
HARRY BROOK:
A future of world cricket who has impressed everyone with his stroke play and one to watch out for everyone who loves cricket – harry brook is an English cricketer who is also in the squad for Lahore Qalandars but isn’t available for this season due to international commitments with English cricket team.
HARIS RAUF:
Haris Rauf is Pakistan’s premium pacer in t20 cricket as well as Odis, not only Pakistan but he is the top t20 pacer around the world with his control, death over Yorkers, and proper heat with the ball as he can generate 150kph+ when on song consistently.
DAVID WIESE:
David Wiese is a very quality all-rounder who has won many matches for this franchise on his own including his heroics in the semi-final of PSL last season, he will play again this season for LQ.
ABDULLAH SHAFIQUE:
Another young batter of Pakistan who made his name in TEST cricket very early in his career will play another season for LQ in the Pakistan Super League and he will be hoping to mark his name in t20 cricket as well.
SIKANDAR RAZA:
Everyone who watches cricket knows this name, also the recently named ICC cricketer in both ODi and T20 teams of the last year speaks volumes about his performances in white ball cricket and the variation he brings to the table will also help LQ.
KAMRAN GHULAM:
Another young batter from this country Kamran Ghulam has been picked again after his good performances for this team last year and he will be hoping to continue the same this season.
ZAMAN KHAN:
Zaman Khan was the find of the tournament from last year’s PSL as he was the emerging player of the tournament for his impressive performances and as a reward he will partner Shaheen Shah in bowling department again.
FAKHAR ZAMAN:
The best opening batsman of Pakistan in terms of scoring quickly and is also the highest run scorer for Lahore Qalandars in PSL history at a brisk rate, which makes his a single handedly match winner for any team he plays with in any league.
HUSSAIN TALAT:
He is an all-rounder of Pakistan who has even played for Pakistan, previously played for ISLU in PSL and this time he was picked by LQ using wild-card on him which shows that LQ wanted him badly.
JORDAN COX:
Jordan Cox is a very handy t20 batsman who can also use the long handle when needed as he has shown many times in Vitality Blast but he is partially available for the tournament still LQ picked him on his potential for future.
LIAM DAWSON:
Liam Dawson will play for LQ this season, he is a left-arm spinner and a right handed batsman who can hit big at the end and can finish match for you in pressure situations.
DILBAR HUSSAIN:
He is a right-arm medium pacer who is a PDP pick of Lahore Qalandars where they think he has potential to be a match winner for their team and he has been given another chance to prove that in this season.
MIRZA TAHIR:
Mirza Tahir Baig is a right handed batsman from Sialkot who he been drafted in for this season, LQ captain Shaheen Shah rated him as the next big six hitter in Pakistan Cricket.
AHMED DANIYAL:
He is another player from PDP program of LQ and is a right arm pacer who was a bit expensive when he played last season but showed potential and Lahore has decided to invest in him again.
SHAWAIZ IRFAN:
He is a batsman who made his name in Pakistan Cricket through U-19 tournament which was held recently where he played some exceptional knocks and showed everyone that he can has something in him to deliver.
JALAT KHAN:
Another one from Pakistan Domestic Structure who play’s Balochistan Team and is a left handed batsman and slow left-arm bowler who can contribute to team whenever needs.
SAM BILLINGS:
Another English cricketer, who is well known for his batting skills and is also a keeper for KENT county team where he has given many performances and LQ wants the same from him now in PSL as well.
KUSAL MENDIS:
He is a top-order batsman from SL and is known for his power hitting at the top and is always keen to use the PP, he will be the backup for Fakhar Zaman or Abdullah Shafique this season.
SHANE DADSWELL:
He is a South-African cricketer and was with the LQ franchise for a long time, the management had trust in his power-hitting capabilities and that’s a reason he is picked again.
