ICC World Cup 2023: Pakistan Announced 15-Member World Cup Squad

ICC World Cup 2023:

The chief selector of the Pakistan Cricket Team, Inzamam Ul Haq has announced the 15-member squad of the Pakistan team for the ICC World Cup 2023 in India.

Pakistan’s World Cup 2023 squad has been finalized after a detailed discussion between the Captain, Babar Azam, the Team Director, Mickey Arthur, and the Chief Selector, Inzamam Ul Haq.

The squad that has been announced by the Pakistan Cricket Board has to travel to India where they are scheduled to play nine group-stage matches of the ICC World Cup 2023.

PAKISTAN’S WORLD CUP 2023 SQUAD:

It’s almost the same squad that was picked for the Asia Cup 2023. There are only two exclusions from that squad as PCB had to submit a 15-member squad for the World Cup and the details are as follows;

Pakistan’s World Cup squad includes five proper batters, four spin-bowling all-rounders, one wicket-keeper batters, one proper leg-spinner and four front-line pacers to play in India at the ICC World Cup 2023.

Three players dropped from the original squad of the Pakistan team, are picked for the World Cup 2023 reserve players.

Wicketkeeper-batsman, Muhammad Haris, mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed, and right-arm pacer, Zaman Khan are picked as the reserve players for the 2023 World Cup squad.
