Pakistan thrashed India by 10 wickets in the 2021 Cricket World Cup.
The all-format captain of the Pakistan team also holds a very significant record to his name as he is the first ever Pakistani captain to defeat India twice in multi-national tournaments, Babar Azam has led Pakistan to win over India twice in ICC 2021 T20 World Cup and then in the Asia Cup 2022.
Babar Azam led Pakistan against India in Asia Cup 2022 twice, he could’ve beaten India twice in one tournament, and was in a comfortable position to win against India but wasn’t able to clinch the win as Pakistan lost the thriller on the last ball of the match.
