PAKISTAN WINS THE EMERGING ASIA CUP 2023:

Pakistan Shaheens comprehensively defeated India A team in the final of the 2023 Emerging Asia Cup. Pakistan were the defending champions of this tournament and they have lived up to the expectations as well.

Pakistan Shaheens were the champions of the tournament back in 2019 as well and that’s why they were the defending champions of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023. They have beaten India in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup and have retained their title as the champions of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023.

Pakistan Shaheens thrashed India A team by a huge margin of 128 runs in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023. Shaheens batted first and scored a huge total of 352 runs in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023. In reply, the Indian A team started their chase pretty well but couldn’t hang on as they were bundled on 224 runs in reply to a chase of 353 runs in the 2023 Emerging Asia Cup final.

Pakistan Shaheens under the captaincy of Muhammad Haris lifted the trophy of the ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup for the second consecutive time in the history of the tournament.

The top order of Pakistan batted brilliantly in the first innings of the final against India, Saim Ayub, Sahibzada Farhan, and Tayyab Tahir scored 50+ scores in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023 against India.

The innings of Tayyab Tahir was the most crucial one who held Pakistan’s innings intact even after the loss of some wickets in the middle overs. Tayyab Tahir scored a brilliant 69-ball century in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023 against India, which helped his team to lift the title of the Emerging Asia Cup.

In the second innings, it was a complete bowling effort by the Pakistan Shaheens to restrict India A from chasing down the huge total of 353 runs in the final. Even though there were many runs to play with but still it required some top-class bowling effort from the young Pakistani boys against some strong quality Indian batters, which they did brilliantly.

The 22-year-old left-arm leg spinner of Pakistan, Sufiyan Muqeem picked up three wickets in the final, Muhammad Wasim Jnr, Arshad Iqbal, and Mehran Mumtaz picked two wickets each with one wicket for Mubasir Khan which helped Pakistan to produce a comprehensive bowling performance in the final of the Emerging Asia Cup 2023 against the arch-rivals India.

As a result, the Pakistan Shaheens have successfully defended their title and are now the back-to-back winners of the ACC Emerging Asia Cup, twice in two editions.

In the inaugural edition of the Emerging Asia Cup, Pakistan, and India both played the final with India winning that final 10 years ago but now Pakistan has equaled the record after beating India A team in the final of the 2023 Emerging Asia Cup.

Pakistan Shaheens are the most successful side of this tournament. In the five editions of this tournament, Pakistan Shaheens have only failed only once to qualify for the final of the tournament. They have played the final four out of five times and have the tournament two times in the 2019 and 2023 editions of the Emerging Asia Cup.
