PAKISTAN’S UPCOMING MATCHES 2023 – NEXT SERIES OF PAK TEAM
NEXT MATCHES & SERIES OF PAKISTAN TEAM:
Pakistan Cricket Board, like every year, has already announced the schedule of the matches that will be played by the Pakistan Cricket Team in the near future, there can be some changes as per the future scenario but the series that are announced in the FTP of the Pakistan team will take place on their scheduled time.
Pakistan Cricket Team has already played a number of matches in their Home Season 2023 in which many top teams like New Zealand, England, West Indies, and before that even Australia have toured Pakistan in recent times.
New Zealand has toured twice this year for the TESTS, and T20I matches as well as the ODI series twice this season – the TEST series was drawn followed by the ODI series that was won by the New Zealand team, in the next tour, T20I series was also drawn followed by the ODI series which was won comprehensively by Pakistan in May 2023. The detail about all the future matches of the Pakistan Cricket Team are given below;

- THESE ARE THE SERIES OF THE PAKISTAN CRICKET TEAM THAT ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE 2023 CRICKET YEAR, BUT IN CASE THE ASIA CUP DOESN’T HAPPEN, PCB HAS ALREADY STARTED TO CONTACT DIFFERENT BOARDS AND TO CHECK THEIR AVAILABILITY FOR A SERIES WITH PAKISTAN IF ASIA CUP DOESN’T TAKES PLACE THIS YEAR.
Pakistan Cricket Board can arrange ODI series with teams like West Indies, Bangladesh, and even Sri Lanka which can give their availability during the Asia Cup 2023 window and this series can help both teams for the preparation of the ODI World Cup 2023 later this year.
According to media reports, Pakistan Cricket Board has approached Sri Lankan Cricket Board to schedule an ODI series as we all know Sri Lanka would play ICC Cricket World Cup Qualifiers in June 2023, and if they qualify for the World Cup 2023 we might see TEST matches to be replaced by a 5-match ODI series in July 2023 which will be a useful series for both teams before the start of the ICC World Cup in India.
PAKISTAN’S FUTURE ODI MATCHES:
Pakistan team is scheduled to play just 3 more ODI matches before the start of the ICC ODI Cricket World Cup in case Asia Cup 2023 gets canceled or even Pakistan boycotts the tournament, and to cover up this loss Pakistan Cricket Board has to come up with a plan and schedule some more ODI matches for the better preparation of the 2023 Cricket World Cup.
PAKISTAN VS SRILANKA ODIS:
Pakistan is scheduled to play a 2-match TEST series vs Sri Lanka but as per the reports by the Pakistani media, if Sri Lanka qualifies for the ICC Cricket World Cup, both boards can come up with some changes to play a 5-match ODI series rather than the TEST series which is a part of the ICC TEST CHAMPIONSHIP and can be scheduled later after the World Cup.
