The new season of PSL has just started and all matches are scheduled to play from 13 February to 19 March, where each team will play twice with each other in the group stage, and after these matches, the top 4 teams of the PSL season 8 will be decided for the playoffs of the season where every game will be a knockout for every team – the points table for each team has been posted here and will be updated after each match;

The Tournament Pakistan Super League Is Played Is Double Round Robin And Playoffs In Which All The Six Teams Go Head To Head Vs Each Other And Try Their Best To Be On The Victorious Side After Their Quota Group Stage Matches To Decide Which Team Will Play In The Playoffs Of PSL, Every Team Plays The Group Stage Matches Allocated To Them In This Double Round Robin Format And The Top Four Teams Of The Tournament After The Group Stage Matches Based On What Points They Got After Their All Matches Of The Tournament Played …

THE WHOLE SCENARIO OF THE POINTS TABLE FOR THE PAKISTAN SUPER LEAGUE IS EXPLAINED BELOW;

  • The team will be ranked on the points table based on the points they accumulated after the group stage matches, i.e team with the highest points will get the top spot.
  • The team with the higher NRR after the group stage matches will end on the higher spot in case the points of the two teams are equal.
  • The team with the most wins in the group stage matches will be given priority if the points, as well as the NRR of the two teams, are equaled after the group stage matches.
  • The team with the most wins over the other team in head-to-head matches will finish on the higher spot in case all the given criteria are still equal.
  • After all the given criteria are checked the top four teams on the points table of the Pakistan Super League will be the teams that will play the second round – PLAYOFFS of the PSL.

PLAYOFFS of PSL 2023:

This is the second round in the Pakistan Super League and the teams that will end in the top four spots of the PSL points table will play this round of PSL with four main matches named as;

THE QUALIFIER OF PSL 8:

In the qualifier match, the team with the top spot in the group stage matches lock horns with the team that comes in as second on the points table after the PSL group stage matches, the team that will win this match will walk straight into the final of Pakistan Super League but the losing team will get one more chance.

FIRST ELIMINATOR OF PSL 8:

In the first eliminator, the team that finishes third on the points table will take on the team that ends in the fourth spot after the group stage matches, the winner of this match will have to win another match to play the final and one that loses this match is out of the tournament.

SECOND ELIMINATOR OF PSL 8:

In the second eliminator, the team that had lost the qualifier will be given one more chance because of good performance in group matches and they will play against the winners of the FIRST ELIMINATOR to fight for that other spot in the final, the team which will win this match will play the FINAL of PSL.

FINAL OF PSL 2023:

The last match of the Pakistan Super League is then scheduled to play between the last two teams that made their way into the last stage of the tournament where they are just one win away from winning the TITLE of the Pakistan Super League after all the hard work, every team wants to give their best in the final.
