SHOAIB MALIK ADVISES BABAR AZAM TO LEAVE CAPTAINCY AND FOCUS ON HIS BATTING

SHOAIB MALIK ADVISES BABAR AZAM:

Pakistani all-rounder Shoaib Malik, on a Local TV channel, says that he wants Babar Azam to step down from the captaincy of the National team so that he can focus more on his batting rather than other things.

Shoaib Malik advises Babar Azam that he should leave the captaincy of the Pakistan team and he further that if he was in Babar Azam’s place he would’ve stepped down as captain himself to focus on his individual performance.

‘’ Babar Azam is a great batsman but we do injustice to Babar by putting his leadership qualities and batting skills in same scale ‘’, Shoaib Malik speaks on a Local TV channel regarding Babar Azam’s captaincy speculations.

Shoaib Malik who also captained Pakistan in his playing days further said that, ‘’ If Babar Azam leaves captaincy, this will help him make more records in international cricket without any pressure to his batting ‘’, the former skipper advises the current all-format captain Babar Azam.

Shoaib Malik wants Babar Azam to step down so that he can focus on his batting skills as if he is not performing well as captain of Pakistan but the reality is totally different in this case because Babar Azam has performed better after becoming the captain and the stats are as follows;

The captaincy of Babar Azam is always the talk of the town, even though Babar Azam has recently broken the record of the player with the most wins as captain in T20I cricket, still former players are critics are raising questions about his batting and Shoaib Malik has also given his verdict on this matter.

However, the current chairman of the PCB management committee, Najam Sethi in his last TWITTER post clarified all these rumors and announced that he will continue to support and back Babar Azam as the captain. Najam Sethi even asked everyone to support Babar Azam as captain.
