USMAN QADIR ABOUT MAKING COMEBACK IN PAKISTAN TEAM

TO MAKE A COMEBACK IN PAKISTAN TEAM:

Usman Qadir, the leg-spinner who has played for Pakistan in white-ball cricket accepts that he has to perform if he wants to earn a spot in the National team.

Pakistan’s leg spinner, Usman Qadir in his latest interview is hopeful to make a comeback for the Pakistan team and he is also determined to improve his performances so that he can get back into the National team on the back of some brilliant performances.

Usman Qadir who is the son of the late Abdul-Qadir played many games for Pakistan in white-ball cricket but recently he was dropped from the Pakistan team. He made his debut for Pakistan in T20I cricket in 2020 and after that, he was a regular part of the T20I team but suddenly he was dropped and he played his last T20I match against England in 2022.

In his latest interview with a local TV channel, Usman Qadir accepts that for him to come back to the Pakistan team, the most important thing is that he has to improve his performances and that’s the only way he can earn a spot back into the National Pakistan team.

‘’ I want to make a comeback in the Pakistan team but I need to improve my performances. There is no point in giving statements without performances ‘’, Usman Qadir said.

The Pakistani leg-spinner also expressed his sadness that even though he is dropped from the National team, still he was hopeful that PCB will call him for the ‘’ spinners ‘’ camp but that was not the case. Usman Qadir also emphasizes that he always wants to keep a positive mindset and that is why even though he wasn’t called, he will still try to keep his morale high and will definitely make a comeback on the back of his performances.

‘’ After being dropped from the National team, I was hopeful that I will be called for the spinners camp, but that was not the case. However, this didn’t affect my morale as I always try to keep a positive mindset. I can only make a comeback in the side if I do well in the domestic cricket and in leagues all wound the world ‘’, he further added.

The 29-year-old also rules out any possibility of injury as he thinks he is totally fit and there are no issues regarding his fitness. He also expressed his views regarding his exclusion from the Pakistan team as he says that he doesn’t know the exact reason behind his exclusion.

‘’ There are no fitness issues with me and that’s why I don’t know why I wasn’t called up for the camp. I don’t know the reason why I was dropped from the side ‘’, he further added.

Usman Qadir also expressed happiness when they discussed the performances of Usama Mir and Shadab Khan for the Pakistan team, he also aims that he wants to be recognized as an all-rounder which will benefit the team because his other teammates can contribute well with the bat as well.

‘’ Usama Mir and Shadab Khan have done well for the team. I am happy for them and I also want to make a name for myself as an all-rounder for the National team ‘’, he concluded.

Previously, Usman Qadir was also alleged to be included in the Pakistan team because he is one of the best friends of Babar Azam, the captain of the National team but he clarified that he isn’t in the team because of Babar Azam but on the basis of his skill and performances.

Today when he is dropped from the Pakistan team, this is proof that he wasn’t in the team on the basis of any nepotism, because Babar Azam is still the captain of the Pakistan team and Usman Qadir says that he will improve his performance to make a comeback into the Pakistan team.
