The left-hander opening batsman of Pakistan, Imam Ul Haq completed a major milestone for Pakistan in ODI cricket.
In his innings of 12 runs on 12 balls, Imam Ul Haq broke down the record of the Pakistani skipper, Babar Azam and he became the fastest ever to score 3000 ODI runs for Pakistan.
Previously, Babar Azam held this record when he scored 3000 ODI runs for Pakistan in just 68 innings and now Imam has bettered the record by achieving the same feat in 67 innings.
FASTEST BATTERS TO SCORE 3000 ODI RUNS:
The batsman with the record of the fastest batter in the world to score 3000 ODI runs for his country is Hashim Amla, who scored 3K ODI runs in just 57 innings for South Africa.
Imam Ul Haq is also the joint second-fastest batsman in the world to complete 3000 runs in ODI cricket after playing 67 innings, along with the likes of Fakhar Zaman and Shai Hope.
