World Cup 2023: Wahab and Hafeez Reacts On Shadab Khan’s Exclusion From Pakistan Team

Wahab and Hafeez Reacts On Shadab Khan’s Exclusion From Pakistan Team:

The vice-captain of the Pakistan team, Shadab Khan has always been under pressure as his performance is not up to the mark for the Pakistan ODI team.

The former captain of Pakistan, Muhammad Hafeez says that Pakistan should not change Shadab Khan in between the tournament as he was backed by the management and we will question his inclusion after the World Cup 2023.

‘’ Now I think, management should not change Shadab Khan. I don’t want someone to replace Shadab in the playing XI. If Shadab Khan is dropped then it means, there is panic in the dressing room ‘’, Muhammad Hafeez added.

‘’ If you were thinking, he is your main player and you guys as management were thinking to trust him that he will perform for Pakistan now play him the entire World Cup ‘’, he further added.

Professor further believes that management is responsible more than Shadab Khan because they kept playing him again and again even after the bad performances.

‘’ Player is not responsible, this management will have to answer that why is Shadab backed so much even after his bad performances ‘’, Muhammad Hafeez excluded.

Wahab Riaz On Pakistan’s Bowling:

Wahab Riaz also gave his views on Pakistan’s poor bowling and he believes that Shadab Khan and Muhammad Nawaz can’t play together and management has to think of some change.

‘’ If you ask me, Shadab and Nawaz should not play together. I would have Usama Mir in place of Shadab or Nawaz. Pakistan needs to think that if there are no early wickets, who is the wicket-taker for Pakistan in middle overs ‘’, Wahab Riaz on Pakistan’s bowling.

The Pakistani pacer, Wahab Riaz says that you will only win when your bowling gets wickets in the middle overs and that’s the only mantra for success in India.

‘’ If you want to win, you have to get all 10 wickets of the opposition and Pakistan hasn’t done this against any team, apart from the Netherlands ‘’, Wahab concluded.
