The former Australian cricketer, Mathew Hayden expressed his views as he thinks that Shadab Khan is a three-dimensional cricketer, the same as the Indian spinner, Ravindra Jadeja in all departments of the game.

‘’ Shadab Khan is a fantastic player. He is an individual of absolute quality. Like Ravindra Jadeja, he is a three-dimensional cricketer ‘’, Hayden added.

Mathew Hayden believes that Shadab Khan is a three-dimensional cricketer as he can win matches for his team in all three stages of the game, he further highlighted the importance of a good fielding team and how these small fielding efforts play a very crucial role in any mega-event.

‘’ He is a dangerous hitter with the bat. He has got variations with the ball and he is a wonderful fielder, and one further point around this is that you win World Cups by fielding efforts ‘’, Hayden further added.

‘’ There are the little things that you don’t see, that make big difference in the tournament. Under pressure, those catches around the boundaries, those unique special run outs that happen, these are the things that will never really be noticed statistically in the World Cup but play a very crucial role ‘’, he concluded.

Shadab Khan is currently playing in the Vitality Blast 2023 season for the Sussex Sharks and has been winning matches for his team with his all-round performances – In 12 matches he has played for his team, he has scored around 250 runs with the bat at an average of 24 and at a brilliant strike rate of 145, along with his batting heroics, he has also picked up 12 wickets at an average of 28 in the recently played Vitality Blast 2023.
