As the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is approaching, all the former cricketers and commentators are giving their four best teams for the World Cup 2023.

The former cricketer from Australia, Adam Gilchrist has also picked his four teams which he thinks will reach the semis of the World Cup in India.

The top four teams for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 as named by Adam Gilchrist are Pakistan, India, Australia, and England.

‘’ I think India will be buoyant after the Asia Cup 2023 and that was a dominant performance there in that (Asia Cup 2023) final ‘’, Adam Gilchrist added.

‘’ I think India and Pakistan could feature in the semi-final, I think Australia and England are the other two teams ‘’, Adam Gilchrist further added.

Australia have recently gone through a 3-2 defeat against South Africa but Gilchrist believes that this defeat will help them in the series against India to get ready for the World Cup 2023.

‘’ Australia will learn a lot from their defeat to South Africa. When they come to India they have got three games before the World Cup against India and they will have a sort of full-strength squad there as well ‘’, Gilchrist concluded.

Adam Gilchrist while talking to Indian media PTI, has named these four teams as his picks who have a chance to qualify for the semi-finals of the tournament.

Ten teams will be participating in the ICC World Cup 2023 and the top four teams after the group stage will feature in the semis of the tournament.

The 2023 ICC ODI Cricket World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be played from 5 OCTOBER to 19 NOVEMBER in India.
