Asia Cup 2023 is a tournament organized by ACC in which all the top Asian teams compete against each other to fight for the title of the best Asian team every year, INDIA has won this title many times in Asia Cup history and another edition of this tournament will take place this year which is scheduled to be played in Pakistan.
ASIA CUP 2023 FORMAT:
Asia Cup 2023 will work on the same principle that is followed every year and this year is no different from others, the format of Asia Cup 2023 is explained below;
- TOP 6 ASIAN TEAMS WILL COMPETE AGAINST EACH OTHER IN THIS TOURNAMENT
- THESE 6 TEAMS ARE DIVIDED INTO TWO DIFFERENT GROUPS, WITH 3 TEAMS IN EACH GROUP
- THOSE GROUPS ARE NAMED AS GROUP A & GROUP B RESPECTIVELY
- EVERY TEAM WILL PLAY AGAINST EACH OTHER IN THE GROUP, A TOTAL OF 3 MATCHES
- THE TOP 2 TEAMS FROM BOTH GROUPS MOVE FURTHER TO THE KNOCKOUT STAGE (SUPER 4) OF THE TOURNAMENT
- THE WINNER OF BOTH SEMI-FINALS WILL PLAY IN THE FINAL OF THE ASIA CUP 2023
- THE WINNER OF THE FINAL MATCH WILL BE CROWNED AS THE CHAMPION OF ASIA FOR THE 2023 YEAR

The top 2 teams from both groups will reach this stage of the tournament, a total of 4 teams will reach this stage of the tournament also known as the SUPER 4 stage of ASIA CUP 2023, the points table for this knockout stage is as follows;

- EACH TEAM WILL BE AWARDED TWO POINTS FOR THE FOR WIN IN THEIR GROUP STAGE MATCHES AND IN CASE OF ANY TIE, THE WINNER WILL BE DECIDED IN THE SUPER-OVER OF THE MATCH
- IF THERE IS ANY NO-RESULT MATCH, CONSIDERED AS A DRAW THEN BOTH TEAMS WILL BE AWARDED 1 POINT EACH FOR THE MATCH
