BABAR AZAM COMPLETES 12000 RUNS IN INTERNATIONAL CRICKET, ANOTHER RECORD FOR BABAR
Pakistani captain Babar Azam, the #1 ODI batsman in world cricket reaches yet another milestone in his career, he has completed 12,000 runs in international cricket for Pakistan since his debut in 2015 vs Zimbabwe.
Babar Azam has completed this milestone of 12K international runs for Pakistan in the FIRST ODI match vs New Zealand, he could not score much in the T20I series but still scored his 3RD T20I century which he scored in the second match of the T20I series against New Zealand.
Babar Azam becomes the 8TH batsman of Pakistan to cross the barrier of 12,000 runs for Pakistan in all formats of the game, the other 8 batters who have completed 12K international runs are as follows;

Captain Babar Azam is the second-fastest Asian batsman to complete 12000 runs in international cricket as he took one more inning than the rival Indian batsman Virat Kohli who scored the same feat in his 276TH innings in international cricket for his country.

The record for the fastest cricketer to score 12,000 runs in international cricket is with VIV RICHARDS who scored these runs in just 255 innings he played in international cricket, followed by South African Hashim Amla (264), Australian superstar Steven Smith (269) and English batting giant Joe Root who scored these runs in 275 innings.
Babar Azam is the sixth fastest cricketer in the world who has scored these runs after some greats of the game, he is in the elite list of batters which is given as well.
Even though Babar Azam just fell short to break the record of the Indian batsman Virat Kohli and is the second fastest batsman to score 12,000 runs in international cricket but he is still the fastest Asian batsman to score 10,000 and 11,000 runs.
