BABAR AZAM TO MAKE HIS DEBUT IN LPL 2023:

The news about Babar Azam is always the most awaited one and here we have another one for the fans of Babar Azam, the captain of Pakistan will make his debut in the 2023 Lanka Premier League this year.

Many players of Pakistan already play in this T20 league and this time, the captain of the Pakistan team will be seen in action at the Lanka Premier League who we all know is one of the World’s best batsmen in all formats of the game.

BABAR AZAM’S TEAM:

The all-format captain of the Pakistan team, Babar Azam will make his debut for Colombo Strikers in Lanka Premier League 2023 season. Babar Azam generally doesn’t play leagues all around the world but this time he will be in action for the T20 tournament of Sri Lanka which will be his debut season as well.

  • The premium Pakistani batsman has been signed directly for the latest edition of the Lanka Premier League, the squads are yet to be finalized because the auction for the Lanka Premier League is yet to take place.

Babar Azam doesn’t participate in T20 leagues like many other Pakistani players as he has just plays played Pakistan Super League and hasn’t played any other T20 league for a long time, the last time skipper Babar Azam played a T20 that was Vitality Blast which takes place in England.

LANKA PREMIER LEAGUE 2023:

The Lanka Premier League (LPL) is the premium domestic tournament of Sri Lanka. There are five teams that participate in the Lanka Premier League and these five teams that play in this T20 league are as follows;

  • DAMBULLA AURA
  • GALLE GLADIATORS
  • JAFFNA KINGS
  • KANDY FALCONS

SCHEDULE LPL 2023:

This is the fourth edition of the tournament and this 2023 edition of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will take place from July 31 – August 22 in Sri Lanka.
