In the match against New Zealand, Hassan Ali picked up the wicket of Devon Conway and completed a huge milestone in international cricket for Pakistan in One-Day internationals.
The right-arm Pakistani pacer, Hassan Ali has completed his 100 wickets in One-Day cricket for the Pakistan team he has achieved this milestone in a World Cup match against New Zealand.
The Pakistani pacer had to wait so long before getting an opportunity to complete this milestone as he was dropped from the ODI team. He was also down due to a fever but he recovered and completed his record in ODI cricket.
Because of the injury of Naseem Shah, Hassan Ali was added to the squad of the Pakistan team for the 2023 Cricket World Cup and he has performed brilliantly since his return to the ODI team of Pakistan.
Hassan Ali has completed 100 wickets for Pakistan in ODI cricket in just 64 matches at an average of less than 30 and an economy rate of around 5.7 runs.
He has played 136 international matches for Pakistan and has picked up more than 230 international wickets for Pakistan in all formats of the game so far in his international career.
In this ICC Cricket World Cup 2023, Hassan Ali is the third-highest wicket-taker for Pakistan in the World Cups as well as features among the top wicket-takers of the tournament.
