PREVIOUS STATEMENT OF AMIR ON BABAR AZAM:

Before the start of the Pakistan Super League, Babar Azam left Karachi Kings and things were circulating on media that something is no well between Babar Azam and Muhammad Amir when a statement from Amir came in which he said that bowling to Babar Azam or any tail-ender is same for him that worked like fuel to that fire.

‘’ These kinds of matchups and player rivalries keep players on their toes. I personally like these sorts of challenges because it keeps me focused but my job is to take wickets and win matches for my team, so for me facing Babar Azam or any tailender will be same ‘’, he gave remarks about Babar Azam.

Pakistani captain Babar Azam and pacer Muhammad Amir were good friends in their playing days as they used to play together for Karachi Kings but issues arose when Muhammad Amir was dropped from the National team and he protested against that. Babar Azam also left Karachi Kings this season as he was traded to Peshawar Zalmi in PSL 8 when this statement came from Muhammad Amir.

This statement circulated on social media for a long time and then Muhammad Amir clarified on that but now once again he has given a statement that he doesn’t rates Babar Azam highly enough in the T20 format, which is his opinion but it’s still not good for a current to give statements like these on local TV channels about the captain of the National Team.
