The star Pakistani all-rounder, Imad Wasim has announced his retirement from international cricket.

Just before the T20 World Cup 2024, Imad Wasim has shocked everyone with his sudden announcement of retirement from international cricket.

Pakistani all-rounder, Imad Wasim has represented Pakistan in 121 international matches across his international career.

In his 55 ODI matches and 66 T20I matches for Pakistan, Imad Wasim has picked up a total of 109 wickets in his international career for Pakistan.

According to Imad’s latest social media post, he has been thinking about his retirement for a long time and now he has made this decision to drop a full spot in his international career.

I now look forward to focusing on the next stage of my playing career away from the international stage ‘’, he wrote on Twitter.

Imad Wasim took Twitter/X and announced his retirement from international cricket which means he is now not on the list for Pakistan’s T20 World Cup 2024 squad.

The star Pakistani cricketer will never don the green star of Pakistan on his chest again but he will be seen in action across various leagues for different franchises all around the world from now on.
