Inzamam Ul Haq Resigns As The Chief Selector Of Pakistan During World Cup 2023:

The chief selector of Pakistan, Inzamam Ul Haq has resigned from his post amid some allegations.

The legendary Pakistani cricketer, Inzamam Ul Haq has now served as the chief selector of Pakistan twice in his coaching career.

He served as the Chief Selector of Pakistan in 2016 and Pakistan also won the Champions Trophy 2017 under his services as Chief Selector of Pakistan.

Inzamam Ul Haq was again appointed as the Chief Selector of Pakistan in August 2023 and he has now resigned from his post during the World Cup 2023. Pakistan Cricket Board has confirmed that Inzamam Ul Haq has stepped down as the CS of Pakistan.

Some questions were raised in media nowadays regarding the conflict of interest as Inzamam was alleged as a shareholder in an company owned by Talha Rehmani who is also the agent for some of the top Pakistani players such as Babar Azam, Muhammad Rizwan, and Shaheen Afridi.

Pakistan Cricket Board also announced that they will investigate on this matter and for that PCB also made a five-member committee which will investigate these allegations on Inzamam Ul Haq.

As per the media reports, Inzamam Ul Haq came to meet PCB chairman, Zaka Ashraf but no meeting took place between two and Inzamam decided to resign from his PCB office.

This happened amid the poor performance of the Pakistan Cricket Team as the team lost four consecutive matches in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 and this is the first time ever in the history of cricket.
