IPL 2023 – PLAYER’S KITS, BATS, AND EQUIPMENT STOLEN DURING IPL 2023

A very rare and shocking incident took place in the ongoing IPL 2023 season, various bats and other items of Delhi Capital players have been stolen, and the things that are stolen consist of some bats, pads, and gloves as well of DC players.

According to the Indian Express, more than 15 bats are stolen, the players which lost their bats in this theft are DC captain David Warner lost 3 bats, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh who bore the loss of 2 bats, wicket-keeper batsman Phil Salt and Indian batsman Yash Dhull also lost five bats in this incident.

This theft even though looks like a simple one for you because these are just items from kit bags but in reality, it can collectively make a huge amount as the estimated cost of the bats that are stolen from foreign players is around 1 LAKH INR each as reported, this matter was immediately informed to the higher security officials and an official complaint has also been raised in this case.

‘’ All of the players were shocked when they heard that they lost something or other from their kit bags, such incident has happened for the first time and the matter was soon raised to the logistics department and the relevant police authorities ‘’, Indian Express reported.

According to reports, an official complaint has also been filed against this incident and an investigation has also been started as several players have reported the theft of the items from their kit bags.
