Matches Of Asia Cup 2023 Likely To Be Shifted Because Of Heavy Rain In Colombo:

As per the reports, the Asian Cricket Council is likely to make a call on the venues of the matches that are scheduled in Sri Lanka.

The matches that are scheduled in Colombo, Sri Lanka are most likely to be washed out because of heavy rain and ACC wants to avoid that in the Asia Cup 2023.

The group stage match between Pakistan and India was washed out because of heavy rain in Pallekele, Sri Lanka.

The SUPER 4 matches in Sri Lanka are scheduled to be played in COLOMBO from 9 SEPTEMBER, 2023, and because the weather not favoring cricket, we might see a change in the venues of the SUPER 4 matches.

There are many SUPER 4 matches are scheduled to be played in Colombo, Sri Lanka and the decision is to be made on the venues of those matches in the Asia Cup 2023.

According to THE INDIAN EXPRESS, Pallekele and Dambulla are likely to be the venues where the upcoming games of the Asia Cup 2023 are likely to be scheduled.

The 2023 Asia Cup tournament was scheduled to be played in Pakistan but because of BCCI’s interference, the tournament is going as per the Hybrid Model and the matches will be played in Sri Lanka.

The best option here would be to consider shifting non-India matches back to Pakistan but we are not sure if BCCI will be ready to accept this for the betterment of Asia Cup.
