Naseem Shah Has been Ruled Out Of The Asia Cup 2023:

The right-arm pacer of the Pakistan team, Naseem Shah has been ruled out of the Asia Cup 2023 and will not take any further part in the tournament.

The Pakistani pacer reportedly injured his right shoulder during the SUPER 4 match against India in the 2023 Asia Cup.

The team doctors will continue to monitor the injury and fitness of Naseem Shah so that he can be fully fit as the ICC World Cup 2023 is just around the corner.

Naseem Shah will not take any further part in the tournament and pacer, Zaman Khan has joined the Pakistan team as a replacement.

Zaman Khan Named As The Replacement:

The pacer picked as a replacement for Naseem Shah – Zaman Khan has also arrived in Colombo and is now available for the match against Sri Lanka on Thursday.

Zaman Khan is also expected to be included in the playing XI of the Pakistan team for the virtual knockout match against Sri Lanka.

As Naseem Shah is now not available, if Zaman Khan plays tomorrow, he make his ODI debut against Sri Lanka in the SUPER 4 of the Asia Cup 2023.

Zaman Khan has played 6 T20I matches for Pakistan and has picked 4 wickets at an average of 32.5 runs, at an economy rate of 6.6 runs.
