It’s almost certain that every year when the Asia Cup is played, the name of the host country is mentioned on the jersey of every team for the Asia Cup tournament.
The tournament is being played in Pakistan and Sri Lanka but the official host of the 2023 Asia Cup is still Pakistan.

Images are also circulating on social media of Pakistani players in the Asia Cup 2023 tournament and the sad part about this is that there is no Pakistan written on Pakistan’s Asia Cup 2023 jersey as well.
Earlier, there were reports that Pakistan’s name would be mentioned as the host of the tournament on the jersey of every team but things came out as the exact opposite.
It was predicted that Pakistan will be mentioned on Asia Cup 2023 jerseys but nothing is written on jerseys related to the hosts of the tournament.
It is because last year, the Asia Cup 2022 was played in UAE but Srilanka was the official host of the tournament and that’s why Srilanka was displayed along with the Asia Cup logo.
Pakistan Cricket Fans are not happy because they were expecting that the name of Pakistan as hosts will be written on the Asia Cup 2023 jerseys of every team in the tournament.
The four matches of the Asia Cup 2023 will be played in Pakistan, and the rest of the nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka as BCCI refused to tour Pakistan and send their team to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023.
