Naseem Shah Likely To Join Peshawar Zalmi In PSL 2024:
The right-arm Pakistani pacer, Naseem Shah played in Pakistan Super League 2023 for Quetta Gladiators, under the captaincy of Sarfaraz Ahmed.
As per the media reports, Naseem Shah has parted ways with his former franchise, Quetta Gladiators and he will not be a part of the Quetta squad in PSL 2024 squad, and Naseem Shah has taken this decision because of some personal reasons.
Two PSL franchises, Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United are in line to sign Naseem Shah for the Pakistan Super League 2024 edition.
Babar Azam’s led Peshawar Zalmi is the favorite among all to sign Naseem Shah for PSL 2024, before the PSL 2024 draft which is scheduled to be held in mid of December.
Earlier, there were also reports that a trade between Quetta and Zalmi can be a viable option for Peshawar to get Naseem Shah for PSL 2024 season.
Peshawar Zalmi is expected to sign Naseem Shah along with the captain, Babar Azam in Platinum category of the Pakistan Super League 2024 retentions.
In Pakistan Super League 2023, Naseem Shah played 9 matches for Quetta and picked up 7 wickets at an average of 37.1 and economy rate of 7.6 runs.
