ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP SCHEDULE:
The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 is scheduled to be held in INDIA as they are the host of this tournament, the schedule of this tournament has been announced and, finally, this Cricket World Cup 2023 will be played from OCTOBER – NOVEMBER at the end of this year.

CRICKET WORLD CUP QUALIFICATION:
In every Cricket World Cup, 10 teams participate and fight with each other for the trophy. This season is no different as 10 teams will participate in the ICC CWC 2023 but for teams to be in the ICC Cricket World Cup they have to end in the TOP 8 teams of the ICC World Cup Super League and the other two teams will have to play the ICC World Cup Qualifier 2023 so they can join other teams in the main tournament.
CRICKET WORLD CUP TEAMS:
The 8 teams that have made the direct qualification into the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 this year in INDIA are those teams that have ended their World Cup Super League 2023 campaign in the TOP 8 spots so they have qualified directly for the ICC World Cup 2023 and those teams are as follows;

- ENGLAND
- PAKISTAN
- AUSTRALIA
- BANGLADESH
- AFGHANISTAN
- SOUTH AFRICA
WORLD CUP QUALIFICATION SCENARIO:
Teams like West Indies, Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe, and some other associate nations that have not qualified directly for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will play the World Cup Qualifiers against each other and the TOP 2 teams in that qualifier round will progress further into the tournament and will join the other 8 teams in the ICC World Cup in INDIA.
WORLD CUP 2023 FORMAT:
As mentioned earlier that there will be 10 teams in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 that will compete against each other, the format for the ICC World Cup 2023 is the same as we had in the previous World Cup edition.
Every team in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will play against each other known as a round-robin style tournament and the TOP 4 teams from the points table will progress further for the SEMIS spot in the CWC 2023 and the TOP 2 teams will be playing the FINAL of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 in INDIA.
