Pakistan Super League History: All Trades In The History Of The PSL:

Pakistan Super League is one of the biggest T20 tournaments across the globe and many great players of T20 cricket feature in this T20 League as well.

All franchises want their team to be the best every season and that’s why there is a trade option in the leagues where teams can exchange players who they think will be valuable to their team in the tournament.

PSL TRADES HISTORY:

Here we will talk about all the trades that have been done in the HBL Pakistan Super League history so far which are given below:

PSL 2018:

This was the first time traded were one in the Pakistan Super League history. Two players were traded to their respective franchises in PSL 2018. The trades that were completed in the Pakistan Super League 2018 edition were as follows:

• Karachi Kings traded Chris Gayle and in exchange got Sohail Tanveer from Lahore Qalandars
• Islamabad United traded Babar Azam to Karachi Kings for a supplementary round pick in the PSL Draft.

PSL 2019:

In Pakistan Super League 2019 season, many players exchanged teams, and Islamabad United, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, as well as Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators were involved in trade. This was the first time that five PSL franchises traded with each other before a PSL edition. The trades that were completed in the Pakistan Super League 2019 edition were as follows:

PSL 2020:

The arch-rivals of the Pakistan Super League made a trade between them in the PSL 2020 season. KK and LQ traded for the second time in PSL history. The trades that were completed in the Pakistan Super League 2020 edition were as follows:

• The left-arm Pakistani pacer, Usman Shinwari was traded to Lahore Qalandars by Karachi Kings as a result of unsuccessful relegation.

PSL 2021:

Only one trade was done in the PSL 2021 edition which was completed between United and Kings. The trades that were completed in the Pakistan Super League 2021 edition were as follows:

• One of the best T20 openers in the world, Alex Hales was traded to Islamabad United in return for Colin Ingram by Karachi Kings and this was the sole trade of the season.

PSL 2022:

The legendary Pakistani cricketer, Shahid Afridi was once again traded in the Pakistan Super League 2022 season along with some other names such as Vince, Iftikhar, and Azam Khan. The trades that were completed in the Pakistan Super League 2022 edition were as follows:

• Shahid Afridi was traded by Multan Sultans along with James Vince to Quetta Gladiators. As a result in this trade, Quetta’s Diamond and Silver round pick was given to Sultans in this process.
• Islamabad United traded Iftikhar Ahmed to Quetta Gladiators and Azam Khan joined United as a result, of this deal between both franchises.

PSL 2023:

• Shan Masood traded to Karachi Kings in exchange for a Silver pick and emerging player of Pakistan, Faisal Akram and this is another trade of the season in which Multan Sultans is involved.
