PAK VS IND MATCHES IN CRICKET ASIA CUP 2023:

The next edition of the Asia Cup that will be played this year will be played in Pakistan, Pakistan has to host the Asia Cup 2023 as they have the hosting rights and as expected PCB will decide some of these four venues in Pakistan which are listed below;
- GADAFFI STADIUM, LAHORE
- NATIONAL STADIUM, KARACHI
- PINDI STADIUM, RAWALPINDI
- MULTAN STADIUM, MULTAN
PAK VS IND ASIA CUP 2023 MATCH:
Pakistan and India will lock horns with each other this year in the Asia Cup 2023, the matches that will be played by both teams are schedule to take place in September 2023, by the end of this year.
PAK VS IND IN ASIA CUP 2023:
Although there are no doubts that the match between Pakistan and India will happen in the Asia Cup 2023 this year but still there are some circulations on media that it is yet to be decided whether India will play with Pakistan on the decided venue or on any neutral venue.
According to reports, an agreement has been signed by the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Indian Cricket Board that all the matches of the Indian teams will be played at a neutral venue because they can’t travel to Pakistan for the Asia Cup 2023 matches.
PAK VS IND ASIA CUP 2023 VENUE:
Although it will be accepted by every country of if both board decide to do this way because the big games of INDIA and PAKISTAN will attract a large number of crowd even if it is played in any part of the world.
The proposed venues that can host the Pakistan vs India games of the Asia Cup 2023, are likely to be between OMAN, UAE, SRI LANKA, and even ENGLAND is willing to host the matches of both teams as we have seen earlier as well in World Cup matches that the crowd there loves to watch both teams.
- THE MAJOR ISSUE IN THIS CASE IS THAT HOW WILL THIS BE MANAGED BY THE PCB AND BCCI, EVEN THE PLAYERS WILL BE IN SO MUCH STRESS BECAUSE IN CASE OF NEUTRAL VENUES FOR INDIA, THE PLAYERS OF OTHER TEAMS HAVE TO PLAY WITH INDIA OUTSIDE PAKISTAN AND THEN THEY WILL HAVE TO RETURN BACK TO PAKISTAN TO PLAY THE OTHER MATCHES OF THE ASIA CUP 2023 OTHER THAN INDIA.
Even though this can never be avoided if board decide to play at neutral venues, the best they can do is that they can choose the as close venues as possible so that teams don’t have to travel much in this case, then the schedule will be made like that way so that teams can play with India first and then they can come back to Pakistan and play remaining matches in Pakistan.
BCCI ON ASIA CUP 2023:
When Pakistan won the hosting rights of the hosting rights of the Asia Cup 2023, the immediate reaction from the BCCI officials was that they will not let this happen and Asia Cup 2023 will be played at a neutral venue and they tried to pressurize Pakistan so that Pakistan will host the tournament outside their country.
PCB’S STANCE ON ASIA CUP 2023:
PCB under Ramiz Raja, replied immediately on this statement from BCCI that if Asia Cup will happen it will be played in Pakistan otherwise do whatever you want but Pakistan will not play matches of Asia Cup 2023 on a neutral venue.
Now after Ramiz Raja was replaced by the former Chairman Najam Sethi, he attended the meeting of ACC and now the news are coming that Pakistan is ready to move half of the Asia Cup matches outside Pakistan, with likely to play most of their matches outside Pakistan in any other country.
- ALTHOUGH IT LOOKS LIKE BOTH THE BOARD HAVE SOFTENED THEIR POLICY A BIT AND DECIDED TO DO IT THIS WAY, WIN-WIN SITUATION FOR BOARD SOF BOTH COUNTRIES AS BOTH COUNTRIES ARE STILL ON THEIR POLICY BECAUSE NEITHER ASIA CUP IS SHIFTED OUTSIDE PAKISTAN NOR INDIA WILL TRAVEL PAKISTAN FOR THE ASIA CUP 2023 BUT THEY HAVE TRIED TO FIND A WAY SO THAT THEY CAN TACKLE THE SITUATION IN A BETTER WAY PUTTING THEIR EGOS ASIDE.
- STILL FOR ME INDIA HAS WON THIS BATTLE IF THIS HAPPENS AS THEY HAVE SHIFTED HALF OF THE ASIA CUP 2023 FROM PAKISTAN AND INDIA WILL NOT TOUR PAKISTAN AS WELL, PCB HAS AGAIN STEPPED BACK FROM THEIR POLICY A BIT.
