As per the latest reports, despite some reservations, Pakistan has agreed to play their World Cup match against arch-rivals India at the Ahmedabad Stadium.

The 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup is scheduled to be played in India later this year and Pakistan has to tour India this year but for that, the important thing is to decide the venues where Pakistan Cricket Team will play their World Cup matches in India this year.

Initially, Pakistan raised some concerns about this venue for the game of Pakistan vs India but now as reported, Indian Cricket Board has accepted the Hybrid Model of Pakistan and the Asia Cricket Council is about to accept this model next week, there are reports that there might be an agreement between India and Pakistan in this regard because initially BCCI rejected the Hybrid Model of Pakistan but now everything seems to be going well.

INDIA VS PAKISTAN MATCH VENUE:

Indian Cricket Board wanted Pakistan to play some of their matches at the Ahmedabad Stadium but Pakistan Cricket Board has their security reservations on this venue. Amid all those concerns, now the latest reports are that Pakistan is expected to play at the Ahmedabad Cricket Stadium, and the match between India and Pakistan is reported to be played at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium, Ahmedabad.

Indian Cricket Board wanted this venue for the match between India and Pakistan because as we all know this is the World’s biggest Stadium and in every tournament, the match of India against Pakistan has its own magic and that’s why India wants to cash that moment because this Stadium has a capacity of 130,000+ spectators which will be very profitable for the ICC and the Indian Cricket Board.

This match definitely deserves this hype as this will be the first time since 2016 that Pakistan and India will play against each other that too on Indian soil which is a clash that every cricket fan will love to enjoy live in the stadium, so the option of Ahmedabad for this high intense clash later this year is totally justified as well.

PAKISTAN WORLD CUP 2023 VENUES:

After some reservations by the Pakistan Cricket Board, now as per the latest reports, Pakistan Cricket Team is expected to play the majority of their group stage games at two or three venues – the grounds of Kolkata, Chennai, and Hyderabad are most likely the stadiums where Pakistan will play their World Cup 2023 group stage matches later this year and these venues are expected to be the ones because Pakistan has felt safe on these venues on their earlier tours as well.

Pakistan’s matches in the 2023 World Cup are most likely at Kolkata, and Chennai because Pakistan played their match against India at the Kolkata Stadium in the 2016 T20 World Cup and players were happy with the security and that’s why this venue seems to be acceptable by the Pakistan Cricket Board.

WORLD CUP 2023 VENUE AND SCHEDULE:

The ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 will start on OCTOBER 5, 2023 later this year in India and there will be 46 matches played at the Indian soil – the cities that are expected to host the World Cup 2023 matches are named as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Dharamasala Cricket Stadiums are included in the World Cup venues.

Indian Cricket Board has also completed the assessment for the cricket grounds that will be used for the 2023 Cricket World Cup and the schedule has also been sent to the International Cricket Council and is expected to be released in some days for the cricket fans, reported by the Indian Media.
