Shaheen Shah Afridi Believes Pakistan Will Create History:

Shaheen Shah Afridi is currently one of the top wicket-takers of the tournament with 9 wickets in 4 matches in the World Cup 2023 edition.

The left-arm pacer of the Pakistan team, Shaheen Shah Afridi spoke about the losses that Pakistan suffered against Australia and India in the World Cup 2023.

Shaheen Shah believes that the team has to accept the loss and learn from the mistakes to do better in the rest of the tournament.

‘’ A loss is a loss and we have to accept that but I believe we have to learn from these losses and it will be important for our team ‘’, Shaheen Shah Afridi on two consecutive losses.

The Pakistani pacer further talks about the chances of Pakistan for the top four spot as he believes that the tournament is not over yet and they still have to play five more matches in World Cup 2023.

The 23-year-old makes it clear that the team is here to create history in India after winning the World Cup and the hopes are there as well to do well in the tournament.

‘’ Both matches were important for us and we lost those matches but the tournament has not ended yet. There are still 5 matches to go along with the semi-final and final ‘’, Shaheen further added.

‘’ We are here to create history and Inshallah we are hopeful as a team. It’s just a matter of some performances from everyone ‘’, he concluded.

Pakistan has played four matches in the tournament so far and has won two matches against Netherlands and Sri Lanka with five more matches to play in the World Cup 2023.
