In a thriller, last night between, Derbyshire and Durham, Pakistani star duo, Zaman Khan and Haider Ali showed some brilliant performances for their team and helped their team to tie the match from a very difficult position.
Zaman Khan with his excellent bowling spell in which he bamboozled the batting lineup of the Durham team and the rest was done by Haider Ali who came lower down the other and provided his team with a quick-fire knock and the match ended in a tie.
The right-arm pacer of Pakistan with an exceptional bowling spell last night picked up 4 wickets in the match last night, he gave away just 21 runs in the match along with the four wickets he picked for his team.
Because of his brilliant bowling performances throughout the tournament, Zaman Khan is now one of the top highest wicket-taker in the tournament, he has claimed 15 wickets to his name in the tournament so far and is having a dream season in the Vitality Blast 2023. Zaman Khan is now the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the season for the Derbyshire team.

In his match against Durham last night, Zaman Khan picked up the wickets of Michael Jones, Brydon Chase, Ashton Turner, and Luke Doneathy. These wickets at regular intervals helped Derbyshire to restrict Durham batters at a relatively low score that ended in a thriller, where Haider Ali held his nerves to save Derbyshire from a certain defeat.
Haider Ali with a match-winning innings last night when he came lower down the order to provide his team with some quick-fire knock, he stepped out to back when the game was almost out of Derbyshire’s hand but he scored brilliant unbeaten 26 runs on just 13 deliveries to save Durham for a defeat.

Derbyshire won the toss and opted to field first, while batting in the first innings, Durham batters couldn’t do much against the impressive bowling of Zaman Khan and they gave a target of 178 runs to win for Derbyshire. In response, the Derbyshire batters were almost helpless towards the end when Haider Ali showed his impressive batting skills last night as he held his nerves to score a boundary on the last ball of the match, and brilliant bowling by Zaman Khan, the 4-fer helped his team Derbyshire to level the match, and the game ended in a thriller.
