Babar Azam Resigns From Pakistan Team Captaincy – Babar Azam’s Captaincy Records:

The captain of the Pakistan team, Babar Azam has announced that he will no longer captain Pakistan in the international cricket from all formats.

There were reports that Babar Azam might continue to lead Pakistan in TEST cricket but Babar Azam has decided to resign from all format captaincy of the Pakistan team.

‘’ Today, I am stepping down as the captain of the Pakistan in all formats. It’s a difficult decision but I feel it is the right time for the right call ‘’, Babar Azam on announcing resignation from captaincy.

‘’ I will continue to represent Pakistan as a player in all three formats. I am here to support the new captain and the team with my experience and dedication ‘’, he further added.

Babar Azam also thanked the Pakistan Cricket Board for entrusting in his abilities and giving him this significant responsibility of captaining Pakistan.

BABAR AZAM’S RECORD AS PAKISTAN CAPTAIN:

The captain of the Pakistan team since 2019, Babar Azam has left the captaincy of the Pakistan team after captaining Pakistan in 134 matches.

Despite being one of the most successful Pakistani skipper, Babar Azam has resigned as the captain of the Pakistan after he has led Pakistan to win in 78 international matches.
