BABAR AZAM SCORES ODI CENTURY – BREAKS ANOTHER WORLD RECORD
Pakistani captain, Babar Azam scored another century in ODI cricket, he claims the record of the fastest player to score 5000 runs in ODI cricket ever in history and breaks several world records as well.
The record of the player to score 5000 ODI runs faster than anyone else was previously held by ‘’ HASHIM AMLA ‘’, the South African batting great was the owner of this record but now Babar Azam has overtaken him and has claimed this record as he becomes the quickest player to score 5000 runs in ODI cricket in terms of innings.
Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan National Team is just busy breaking every single world record nowadays and yet again he proves his batting greatness in ODI cricket as he scores another century in ODI cricket for Pakistan.
In the fourth ODI vs New Zealand, captain Babar Azam took every Kiwi bowler to the cleaners as he scored his 18TH century in ODI cricket, during this magnificent innings he also completed 5000 ODI runs and becomes the fastest one to do so – he completed these runs in just 97 innings for Pakistan.

Babar Azam has also beaten Virat Kohli’s record in this process who scored 5000 ODI runs in 114 innings he played for his country, Babar Azam has done this in just 97 innings and is also the only player in the history of ODI cricket who has scored 5000 runs in less than 100 innings in international cricket.
BABAR AZAM SCORES HIS 18TH ODI CENTURY:
Babar Azam was under some sort of pressure as he wasn’t able to score his 18TH ODI century for a very long time, he was scoring fifties in ODI cricket for fun. In his last 11 innings, he has scored 50+ in 8 innings for Pakistan just couldn’t reach that three-figure mark but today he decided to break the shackles and score another ODI century.
Pakistan’s all-format captain, Babar Azam along with the record of the fastest player to complete 5000 ODI runs also completed his 18TH century in ODI format and is also the fastest player in the world to do so – he is always in top form while playing ODI cricket but was yet to score a century in this format since last year against the West Indies but in the fourth ODI against New Zealand he also scored his 18TH ODI century for Pakistan.

Babar Azam has completed his 18TH century in ODI cricket in just 97 innings he has played for Pakistan, the player that comes after Babar Azam on this list is Hashim Amla who scored his 18TH ODI century in 102 innings, followed by David Warner (115) and Virat Kohli who achieved this record in 119 innings – Babar Azam was very quick to score these centuries and has left Virat Kohli behind in this record as well.
