ABDULLAH SHAFIQUE – Abdullah Shafique should open with Fakhar Zaman as his partner for Lahore Qalandars, he was given the opportunity in the last season at #3 but his best position is at the opening slot and he should be there to open the innings for Lahore Qalandars.

PESHAWAR ZALMI PSL 2024:

THE TWO OPENERS FOR PESHAWAR ZALMI IN THE NEXT SEASON ARE EXPECTED TO BE THEIR CAPTAIN BABAR AZAM AND THE YOUNG TALENT OF PAKISTAN SAIM AYUB IN PSL 2024.

BABAR AZAM – The captain of Peshawar Zalmi is the obvious choice of Zalmi as their opener for the next PSL 2024 season, he also performed brilliantly at the top in PSL 2023 as well so he will remain there to lead from the front.

SAIM AYUB – The upcoming talented youngster of Pakistan cricket Saim Ayub, who impressed everyone with his skills in the PSL 2023 season and after that, he was also picked for the Pakistan team, we will see him opening with his captain Babar Azam in PSL 2024 for Zalmi.

ISLAMABAD UNITED PSL 2024:

THE TWO OPENERS FOR ISLAMABAD UNITED IN THE NEXT PSL 2024 SEASON ARE EXPECTED TO BE ALEX HALES AND RAHMANULLAH GURBAZ FOR PSL 2024.

ALEX HALES – The star batsman of the England Team will be the first-choice opener for the Islamabad team in the next PSL season as he is already a very top name in T20 cricket and every team will love to play him at the top and can maximize the power-play for the team.

RAHMANULLAH GURBAZ – The hard-hitter Afghani batsman Gurbaz will be the second one to join the list as he has also performed very well for Islamabad United in the past season and he is expected to continue for United as the opener.

MULTAN SULTANS PSL 2024:

THE TWO OPENERS FOR MULTAN SULTANS IN THE PSL 2024 SEASON ARE EXPECTED TO BE THEIR CAPTAIN MUHAMMAD RIZWAN AND USMAN KHAN, SHAN MASOOD MIGHT LOST HIS PLACE IN THE FIRST CHOICE XI.

MUHAMMAD RIZWAN – Nothing to think in this regard as the top wk-batter of the Pakistan team and their captain, Muhammad Rizwan will be the opener for Multan Sultans in next season as well, in last 3 seasons he has scored 500+ runs consecutively for Multan Sultans as opener.

USMAN KHAN – Usman Khan is a new young player who was given a chance in PSL 2023 season and he grabbed that opportunity with the fastest century of PSL history on 36 balls for his team as an opener, he is expected to be the one in the starting XI for sultans next season.

QUETTA GLADIATORS PSL 2024:

THE TWO OPENERS FOR LAHORE QALANDERS IN THE PSL 2024 SEASON ARE EXPECTED TO BE JASON ROY AND THE OTHER ONE WILL BE PICKED IN THE DRAFT OF PSL 2024.

JASON ROY – Jason Roy as we all know is one of the most destructive batsmen in current times and he showed that in the previous season when he smashed the highest PSL score of 145* for Quetta Gladiators to win the match, he is expected to be retained for next season of PSL 2024 as well.

DRAFT PICK – The second choice for an opener in the Quetta Gladiators team will definitely be their draft pick as they will target a quality opening batsman who can partner Jason Roy at the top for their team.

KARACHI KINGS PSL 2024:

THE TWO OPENERS FOR KARACHI KINGS IN THE NEXT SEASON ARE EXPECTED TO BE JAMES VINCE AND THE OTHER ONE WAS EXPECTED TO BE SHARJEEL OR IT WILL BE PICKED IN THE DRAFT FOR PSL 2024.

JAMES VINCE – Another destructive opener in the PSL played last season for KK, although he was not fully available, still as their diamond pick he did very well even though KK didn’t play well but still he was their stand-out performer and it will be expected to see him back as an opener in PSL 2024.

DRAFT PICK – The second opener for KK is not expected to be from the retained players because both of their regular openers Babar Azam, who has left the team, and Sharjeel Khan, who was out of form and dropped from the team last season.
