PSL 2024 TEAMS AND OWNERS LIST:
When you talk about league cricket in every country, nothing is controlled by any cricket board. The teams in leagues are owned by different private groups or entities and Pakistan Super League is also the same in which there are six teams that feature in the tournament and all these teams are owned by some private companies or entities. The owners are the main pillar of every cricket league all around the world, here is the list of the PSL team owners, which is as follows;

PESHAWAR ZALMI OWNER PSL 2024:
Peshawar Zalmi is one of the most successful PSL franchises as they have qualified for playoffs in every season in PSL history, this team in the Pakistan Super League is owned by the famous businessman JAVED AFRIDI, he is the main man behind the HAIER group in Pakistan and as we all know he has a very huge role in the cricket of Pakistan.
JAVED AFRIDI is a Pakistani business entrepreneur, he is also the owner of MG Automobile Pakistan and has great services and investments in cricket. He is also the cousin of the former Pakistani skipper, Shahid Khan Afridi.
KARACHI KINGS OWNER PSL 2024:
Karachi Kings is a team based in Karachi, this PSL franchise is owned by the famous media businessman, SALMAN IQBAL who is the CEO of the ARY DIGITAL NETWORK which is the largest media network in Pakistan.
SALMAN IQBAL has also been awarded the Sitara-i-Imtiaz in Sports category in 2022, because even though he is the owner of the ARY DIGITAL but still he has done much for the betterment of this sport in his life as he himself has a huge interest in his franchise and this game.
LAHORE QALANDARS PSL 2024:
Lahore Qalandars is a PSL franchise that has won two consecutive PSL trophies in 2022 and 2023 under Shaheen Shah Afridi and is the only team till now to defend its title. This team is owned by FAWAD RANA, who is a Pakistani businessman from Lahore and is the Managing Director of QALCO.
FAWAD RANA is one of the famous businessman from Pakistan who has a huge interest in this sport but he lives abroad and his brother Atif Rana and Sameen Rana manage this team in PSL.
QUETTA GLADIATORS OWNER PSL 2024:
Quetta Gladiators, another team in PSL that has enjoyed huge success but in the early seasons of the PSL and after that, we have seen a bit of downfall in the team as they have not played according to their standards from 2020 – 2023 PSL seasons, this team is owned by another businessman NADEEM OMAR, he has a huge interest in cricket and has also served as the president of the Pakistan Cricket Club.
NADEEM OMAR basically is the owner of the OMAR ASSOCIATES GROUP, a largely recognized business group in Pakistan is the owner of this PSL franchise, and because he was a former Scrabble Player so he worked hard for the sports in Pakistan and especially he is well-known for his contributions to Pakistan cricket.
MULTAN SULTANS OWNER PSL 2024:
Multan Sultans is a PSL franchise that was added later in the Pakistan Super League and was the most expensive PSL franchise when it was bought by ALI TAREEN, Multan Sultans has been very successful in the past 3 years in PSL as they have played 3 finals and have won 1 trophy as well in 2021.
ALI KHAN TAREEN is the son of the famous businessman and politician Jahangir Khan Tareen, he is also the Director of the JK Group and JK Sugar Mills Private Limited in Pakistan but as a cricket fan himself, he works very keenly on Pakistan cricket so he can create some difference. Ali Tareen is the owner of this team in PSL along with his uncle Alamgir Khan Tareen.
ISLAMABAD UNITED OWNER PSL 2024:
Islamabad United, the two-time PSL champion – one of the most successful teams in the Pakistan Super League along with Lahore Qalandars is owned by the famous businessman ALI NAQVI who is a well-recognized name in the telecom service industry.
ALI NAQVI and his wife, AMNA NAQVI have done so much for the betterment of cricket in Pakistan when it was the start of the Pakistan Super League and there was no cricket being played in Pakistan at that time, but as they were cricket fans themselves so they bought this team in 2015 for the cricket fans of Islamabad city.
