Play Called Off Due To Rain, Match Will Be Played On Reserve Day:

The match between Pakistan and India which was scheduled to be played on 10 SEPTEMBER, 2023 was called off due to rain and wet outfield.

The weather was already predicted and for that reserve day was also announced to complete the match on the next day.

Because of heavy rain and a wet outfield, only 24.1 overs of play were possible on DAY 1 of the Pakistan vs India match in the 2023 Asia Cup.

PAK VS IND 2023:

Pakistan won the toss and Babar Azam decided to bowl first in the SUPER 4 match against India at Colombo.

Indian openers attacked the Pakistani pacers upfront and gave a quick start to the Indian team after the powerplay.

Both Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill scored quick-fire fifties before getting out to Shadab Khan and Shaheen Afridi.

Rohit Sharma scored 56 runs off just 49 deliveries with six fours and four sixes, Shubman Gill scored 58 runs on 52 deliveries and smashed ten fours in the match.

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were on the crease as the rain started to pour down heavily and despite so much effort, the play wasn’t possible on 10 SEPTEMBER, 2023.

On the reserve day, the complete match of 50 overs will be played between India and Pakistan, but only if the rains allow us to do so.

The weather for the reserve day is also not looking great as there is rain scheduled on 11 SEPTEMBER as well but fans will be hoping for some better news tomorrow.

The match between Pakistan and India will start from where we left off, 24.1 overs of batting with the remaining overs to be bowled tomorrow.
