Saud Shakeel Scores Double Century Against Srilanka:

The left-handed Pakistani batsman, Saud Shakeel completed a memorable double century against Srilanka in Srilanka. Saud Shakeel’s impressive knock helped him to achieve very special records in test cricket for the Pakistan team.

The left-hander, Saud Shakeel becomes the first batsman from Pakistan who has scored a double century in Srilanka ever in the history of test cricket. Saud Shakeel achieved this feat in the first test match against Srilanka in GALLE stadium.

The magnificent double century of Saud Shakeel also helped him to become the 23rd Pakistani batsman who has scored a double century for Pakistan in test cricket.

This was the second test century for the youngster, the first test innings away from home and he made that moment special by scoring a test century away from home against Srilanka in Srilanka.

Pakistan was struggling in their first innings of the match against Srilanka when they were five down for just 101 runs on the board, Saud guided the Pakistani ship from that point and scored a magnificent unbeaten double century as Pakistan scored a total of 461 runs for that position on the back of Saud Shakeel.

In his sixth test match, Saud Shakeel scored an unbeaten 208 runs off 361 deliveries in the first innings of Pakistan, at a brilliant strike rate of around 57. He smashed 19 fours in his knock of 208 runs, where he showed his technique, temperament, and class for Pakistan in the first test match against Srilanka.

Saud Shakeel has performed almost in every match for the Pakistan test team since his inclusion in the test team, and this leads to a record for Saud in test cricket. He is now the player who has scored the most runs (788) for the Pakistan team after just 11 test innings. He broke the record of his teammate Abdullah Shafique who also had a memorable start to his test career for Pakistan.

Fawad Alam is another player who features in this list, he scored an exceptional innings of 168 runs in 2009 and is still in the top five highest scores in test cricket for Pakistan.
