Pakistan team recently lost a home T20I series against New Zealand in the series decider where they could’ve won if some more runs should’ve added to the total but it couldn’t happen so because of many reasons and like other former cricketers Rashid Latif also pointed out those things.

Former captain of the Pakistan team, Rashid Latif on a sports show talked about how players should prioritize the team rather than personal performances and how this affect can the team in the end.

’ In the last two overs, a lot of singles were taken and it seems like everyone was trying for that century but there was no point in scoring singles that too at death for someone else’s century ‘’, Rashid Latif slams the approach of the Pakistan team.

‘’ This is not a club-level team, this is the National team and every match is essential for Pakistan ‘’, he further added.

Rashid Latif further talked about this approach and said that the batter (Imad Wasim) missed the first ball and was then dismissed on the next ball, and the following batter (Faheem Ashraf) also scored a single to rotate the strike which was not good for the team.

‘’ Mistakes are bound to happen, maybe Imad genuinely wanted Muhammad Rizwan to score his century but this attitude wasn’t justified. The message that was delivered across the team was wrong ‘’, he added to the analysis.

He also mentioned that according to him the intentions were wrong and these things need to be looked out for in the future.

The T20I series was leveled 2-2 and now the Pakistan team is scheduled to play a five-match ODI series against the New Zealand team, the series will be started from 27Th April.
