Top Players Ruled Out From South Africa’s World Cup 2023 Squad:
South Africa has confirmed that their two top players are ruled out of the Cricket World Cup 2023 squad.
An official announcement has been made in this regard that two pacers of South Africa, Sisanda Magala, and Anrich Nortje are ruled out of the World Cup 2023.
South Africa has replaced both of their pacers in the Cricket World Cup 2023 squad as they have picked Andile Phehlukwayo and Lizaad Williams for the upcoming World Cup in India.
Anrich Nortje and Sisanda Magala were injured during the home ODI series against Australia but they have failed to pass their fitness test ahead of the 2023 World Cup and as a result, they are now out of the World Cup 2023.
The 29-year-old pacer from South Africa, Nortje has played 22 ODI matches for his country and has picked 36 wickets at an average of 27.3 runs.
Sisanda Magala is another pacer from South Africa who has been ruled out of the World Cup 2023. He has played 8 ODI matches and picked up 15 wickets at an average of 25.4 runs.

Both injured players, Nortje and Magala have been replaced in the initial squad announced by South Africa.
