According to media reports, Muhammad Hafeez has been offered top posts in the Pakistan Cricket Board by Zaka Ashraf who has recently assumed charge as the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board once again.

Zaka Ashraf just recently took charge as the head of the Pakistan Cricket Board after so many interventions by some other stakeholders, but now he is finally the new head of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

As we all know, whenever there are changes at the top positions of the Pakistan Cricket Board, there are also some changes expected in the team management roles and key positions that play a role in the Pakistan Cricket Team. The same thing has started and Zaka Ashraf has contacted many former Pakistani cricketers and some important roles in PCB are offered to them.

Muhammad Hafeez, the former Pakistani all-rounder has been offered multiple posts in the Pakistan Cricket Board by Zaka Ashraf, who has just taken charge as the new head of the Pakistan Cricket Board.

All this development was taken into account during a meeting between Muhammad Hafeez and Zaka Ashraf, at the headquarters of the Pakistan Cricket Board in Lahore and this is where Muhammad Hafeez was offered two key positions in the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The two key posts that are offered to the former Pakistani cricketer, Muhammad Hafeez are reported as the post of chief selector, and is also reported that another position offered to Muhammad Hafeez is the head of the National Cricket Academy.

According to media reports, the new head of the Pakistan Cricket Board has offered some top positions to some former cricketers including Saleem Yousaf, Younis Khan, and Mohsin Khan in the Pakistan Cricket Board.

MUHAMMAD HAFEEZ AS CHIEF SELECTOR?

Muhammad Hafeez, also known as ‘’ PROFESSOR ‘’ in Pakistan cricket – is one of the most dignified cricketers of Pakistan, who have served Pakistan without any controversies in their cricketing career. He offered the role of Chief Selector of the Pakistan team because the previous Chief Selector, Haroon Rasheed has officially announced that they are now not in any role with the Pakistan Cricket Board.

The position of Chief Selector in the Pakistan Team is now vacant, and who better than Muhammad Hafeez to take over as the new selector because of his deep understanding of the game and is also in touch with modern cricket but definitely he has not worked previously in any of these posts. So, time will tell whether he will accept the offer by Zaka Ashraf and how will he fare as the Chief Selector of the Pakistan team but he is a name on which no one would make any objection.

YOUNIS KHAN’S ROLE IN PAKISTAN’S MANAGEMENT:

One of the batting giants of Pakistan cricket, Younis Khan has worked with the Pakistan Cricket Board previously as the batting coach of the Pakistan team. He was appointed as the batting coach of Pakistan in June 2020 for a two-year contract but parted ways with the Pakistan Cricket Team mutually in June 2021 ahead of Pakistan’s tour to England.
