WE HAVE TO ACCEPT THAT WE DON’T HAVE A CHAMPION TEAM – HEAD COACH OF THE PAKISTAN TEAM
The head coach of the Pakistan cricket team, Grant Bradburn, while talking to a local TV channel says that we have to accept the fact that we are not a champion team yet and we are still looking forward to building a team of that quality.
He said that they have a group of individual players who are very talented but they have to develop themselves into a formidable team and for that they have to lift themselves up on their own.
Grant Bradburn further said that players should accept the reality that they have not reached the level of greatness and they have to work hard on themselves to do so.
‘’ We have a team of champions but we don’t have a champion team as of yet, and that’s what we are looking to build in the future ‘’, Grant Bradburn in his interview.
‘’ We have to accept that we are not the team that we want to be as of yet, if we want to win the World Cup 2023 or to be the #1 in every format of the game, our players have to lift themselves up on their own ‘’, he further added.
The Head Coach of the Pakistan team also talked about the approach of the Pakistan team on which he expressed that Pakistan needs to change their style of play if they want to win big tournaments.
‘’ We are going to support players but what we want from them is to lift themselves and get better. We have to understand the brand of cricket we need to play in the upcoming Asia Cup 2023 and World Cup 2023 and we need to adapt that very quickly ‘’, he added in his interview.
The Director of the Pakistan Cricket Team, Mickey Arthur who is appointed by Najam Sethi, in his press conference said that the Pakistan team has an incredible talent to become number one in all formats of the game and this team has the talent to win the World Cup.
