WE DON’T HAVE TIME FOR CHANGES, SHADAB KHAN’S LATEST INTERVIEW

SHADAB KHAN’S LATEST INTERVIEW:

Pakistan’s star all-rounder and the vice-captain of Pakistan’s white-ball team, Shadab Khan expressed his thoughts on whether Pakistan should still look for some changes in the team or not on which Shadab Khan replied that there is no need to change anything with the playing XI now.

Before Shadab Khan, a similar question was asked to Imam Ul Haq in a press conference during the ODI series against New Zealand, to which Imam also said the same thing there is no need for any experiment in the team as we don’t have enough time to test new players out before the World Cup. Imam Ul Haq was dropped for the last 2 ODI matches and this statement of Imam caused many rumors in the media as well.

Pakistan’s vice-captain in his interview on a local TV channel says that he thinks players can perform better when they are given better opportunities and especially before the mega event like World Cup you need collective performances from the players to perform better as a team.

‘’ Selectors should know better about the squad, but as a player, I believe that when you get better opportunities you can perform better. We don’t even have enough time to make changes in the playing XI now. We should with the same team for the World Cup or Asia Cup which is just before the World Cup because this team is gelled and all players are also performing consistently ‘’, Shadab Khan in his interview.

Shadab Khan is also a very important member in the management role along with Babar Azam and he also thinks that we don’t need to experiment anything with our ODI team because this team has been playing for a long time now. So, we might not see some major changes in our ODI squad for the World Cup or Asia Cup but there can be some last-minute inclusions in the squad of Pakistan team.

Along with that, Shadab Khan also feels that they have to give confidence to the same team which are playing for a long time now and he also backed every player on their previous performances for the Pakistan team.

‘’ The confidence that comes with good performance boosts your morale and you feel confident enough. Almost every player in the squad has performed well and when you participate in any big tournament with a gelled team of players, then your overall performance as a team also improves ‘’, he further added in his interview.

Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan team himself doesn’t like the idea of much chop and changes in the team, and especially when the team is performing he never changes the combination of the team and is also willing to give a consistent run to every player and he has mentioned that in his interviews as well.

Imam Ul Haq who we all know is the best friend of Babar Azam said the same thing in a press conference during New Zealand’s ODI series but he was dropped for the last 2 ODI matches – media was already hyping this conference and after that tweet from Imam created more controversy, now Shadab Khan has also expressed his thoughts and hasn’t entertained the idea of any changes in the Pakistan ODI squad.
