World Cup 2023 Final: India Lost Another Tournament In Last 10 Years – The Real Chokers?
India has bottled another ICC tournament as they failed to win the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 against Australia in Ahmedabad, India.
Australia won the toss and decided to field first, Rohit Sharma mentioned at the toss that he also wanted to bat first but the Indian team was bundled out for just 240 runs in the first innings.
In the run chase, Travis Head smashed a brilliant century, followed by fifty from Marnus Labuschange, and crushed all the Indian hopes of winning their third World Cup trophy at home.
This is the second time India has lost a home tournament. Previously, they lost the semis of the T20 World Cup 2016 which was also played in India, and now ODI World Cup 2023.
In the last 10 years, India has played in the semi-finals of two T20 World Cups and two ODI World Cups followed by five Finals which also include the Finals of the World Test Championship in 2021 and 2023 but failed to win anything.
