ZAMAN KHAN HAD A BAD DAY, NASEEM AND SHAHEEN WERE ON FIRE IN VITALITY BLAST 2023
PAKISTANI PLAYERS IN VITALITY BLAST 2023:
Pakistani pacers, as we all know are always in high demand by all T20 franchises around the globe, the pace trio of the Pakistan Team – Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah, and Zaman Khan are currently playing in the Vitality Blast 2023 and are winning matches for their respective teams in the 2023 T20 Blast season.
SHAHEEN SHAH AFRIDI:
Shaheen Shah Afridi even though we feel is playing too many matches in the Vitality Blast 2023, but his performances are still improving day by day as he has once again shown his true potential and helped his team towards another win in the T20 Blast tournament.
The left-arm Pakistani pacer shined with the ball once again, came to bowl in the power-play, bowled some excellent lines, and eventually targeted the stumps of English opener, Joss Buttler with a sizzling Yorker in the power-play. Shaheen Shah then returned in the death overs and he rattled the stumps of Jones, a batter who tried to target Shaheen Shah in the end of the innings.
- In his quota of four overs, Shaheen Shah Afridi finished with 2 wickets after giving away 25 runs, an excellent spell of bowling that helped his team to win the match with 10 balls to spare.
The premium Pakistani pacer now has picked up 10 wickets in the tournament for his team in 7 matches he has played so far in the tournament. The ace Pakistani pacer, Shaheen Shah Afridi is also now the highest wicket-taker for his team Nottinghamshire in the 2023 Vitality Blast with 10 wickets in 7 matches for his team.
- In his last two matches for Nottinghamshire, Shaheen has picked up 5 wickets with his best bowling figures of 3/39 in the last match and 2/25 today for his team and both came in winning causes.
NASEEM SHAH:
The right-arm Pakistani pacer, Naseem Shah playing for his team has performed once again as he has been in great form in the 2023 Vitality Blast. In his short stint so far at T20 Blast, came in as a replacement and now he has been a very important member of the team.
Naseem Shah has bowled another economic spell for his team in the 2023 Vitality Blast and eventually picked up a wicket in the death overs as well when he bowled Wayne Parnell in his last over.
T20 cricket lately hasn’t been so kind to Naseem Shah in terms of wickets but still that doesn’t mean he has not bowled well because the economy of Naseem Shah in the 2023 Vitality Blast is just around 7 runs per over which is exceptional – you will not see him in top list because of less wickets, but he has been a consistent performer for his team.
In the end, Naseem Shah ended up with excellent figures of 1/28 in his quota of four overs, restricted the opposition to a low score, and which helped his team win the match with 12 balls to spare.
ZAMAN KHAN:
The young Pakistani sensation, Zaman Khan even though is performing level best for his team in the Vitality Blast and has picked up 8 wickets for his team this season, had a bad outing last night as his team lost the match.
Zaman Khan has even though didn’t bowled well today but still he has been in good form for his team Derbyshire as he is still the second highest wicket-taker for his team in the tournament. He has picked up 8 wickets in 6 matches he has played so far in the tournament.
The right arm pacer started his spell with a boundary and just couldn’t recover from the attack of opposition batters as he ended up giving away runs with an economy of more than 10 runs per over.
The target of around 170 runs wasn’t enough to win for his team, Zaman Khan didn’t finished his quota of four overs as he gave away 37 runs his 3.3 overs, he bowled in the match but the opposition team won the match with 9 balls to spare.
